Andrew Knight came to visit us at our meeting on the 4th Nov. He had been on a trip to Ukraine and the infamous 'Chernobyl' to photograph this fascinating place.
Andrew reminded us of the tragic events which occurred after an explosion at the nuclear power plant, back in the 80's.
Lots of photos showed us how the buildings have deteriorated, or been ransacked and that wildlife and nature is slowly claiming the area back, even though it is still and will be for several lifetimes extremely high in radiation.
